Do you like to frame your artwork?

If you need help framing your art I can help you with that. If you only want suggestions of what frames are suitable I can help with that too:)

Frame Art on Paper

Art on paper are usually framed with a frame with glass to protect the artwork. I recommend UV glass since it reduces reflections. I often use a paper with beautiful raw edges which I like to show so therefore I mount the paper so that it looks like the artwork is hanging free in the box frame. It is called float mounting. The art is elevated to allow the edges to show and the artwork is in focus.

When the edges are less important it is beautiful to mount the artwork with a mat in a matching tone, mat mounting.

You also have the possibility to use a full-bleed mounting, the artwork is mounted flush to the edge without a mat.

Frame Art on Canvas

Canvases don’t need to be framed but I think it is a great way of enhancing the art on your wall. Choose a frame that will complement the artwork and at the same time look great in your home.
